This is my plan for 2018! I want to focus on a year of living magically.
I don’t want to pull rabbits out of hats or colourful scarves from my sleeves, but I do want to live in a way that connects be with nature in a deeper way.
There is power and peace when you connect with the phases of the moon, the passing of the seasons and your own internal wisdom
I have no written out plan, no magical ‘to do’ list - instead I want to let flow guide me and for me to honour that.
Maybe I will meditate, maybe I will use my crystals more, burn incense, develops mindful rituals. I don’t know.
It just needs to have this feeling. This feeling of beauty and joy and hope.
I think that this is something worth sharing.
I want my art to embody this feeling too.
Art has a great way of connecting to people energetically. I certainly have looked at some art and been moved in some way.
Anyway this is my intention for this year and I am looking forward to playfully exploring it and sharing it with you.
I wish you a very happy and magical year too.
I hope you have a fabulous Christmas. I am enjoying unwinding already. I have no more markets to do for a couple of weeks and let’s face it, it is going to be quiet when things start again in January. My husband has finished too and it’s a wonderful feeling to know that there is no rush, no hurry - just time and the opportunity to do things together as a family again.
I’ve been able to do some yoga, read a magazine and watch some cheesy Christmas movies while wrapping presents. It feels good to be taking some time for myself and I think that self care will have to be prioritised next year. There are times when you need to push yourself, but it’s a bit like stretching, if you go too far you just end up hurting yourself. I definitely felt as though I had found my edge and pushed into it, but I’m glad to have eased off now.
Thankfully, I love what I do and I’m really excited for starting my next project in the new year. I can’t wait to share my plans with you, but for now I just want to wish you a magical day and send you a big hug.
Take care and catch up soon! 💕✨🎄
I can’t believe it is nearly Christmas already! I am excited and busy - writing to do lists, wrapping presents and finishing off items for Sennen Market this Tuesday.
It will be my second Christmas and first whole year at Sennen and I have learned a lot simply by getting my work ‘out there’ every week. I actually really look forward to it - it is always so friendly and makes me proud to be part of such a great community. For those of you who like the Gilmore Girls - it’s a little like Stars Hollow.
I feel like I have so much to share and say, but for now I want to say a big thank you. Thank you to everyone that has bought something from me, thank you to everyone who reads my blog, thank you for following me on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Thank you for all your likes, comments, advice and words of encouragement. You are amazIng! I appreciate you so much and love sharing my work with you.
My Christmas will be spent with husband and 4 1/2 year old daughter who both mean the world to me. I am very lucky to have so much love.
I hope you have a wonderful
