Well, it has been absolutely beautiful in Cornwall over the last week and I have been enjoying the outdoor life to the full. It's been time for BBQ's catching up with old friends and getting my life in order.

It's only a few weeks now before I go to Brooklyn and I've been on a mega tidy, getting my house ready for a house swap. My home has been a building site since we moved in years ago and it finally looks like a proper home. I can't quite believe it! I keep walking around thinking that everything looks beautiful! I think that our fellow house swappers will be pretty pleased with our cosy little cottage.

I'm looking forward to being inspired by New York and getting a full on hit of city life. It's been a long time since I even sniffed city air and so I think that I'm going to be buzzing!

It's been a little while since I've been in the creative zone. I went back to college to do a fast track journalism course (law, shorthand and public affairs) which took up every minute of my time. Even when I was driving I would be visualising Tee Line outlines to the lyrics of songs that I was listening too. I didn't even have time to think about getting creative.

Still, here I am on the other side of education (again) and starting to feel the buzz of images floating around inside my head. I'm keen to get some handmade cards going again, but I also want to start painting again and I'm keen to explore different things.

I'm not too sure what I'm going to do, but I'm looking forward to the exploration! Will upload of images as soon as I have something worth showing.
