Since getting engaged, I have been somewhat excited about getting married! For me it's a bit like one huge art/craft project and want to make it as personal and unique as possible. After looking into flowers and bouquets I decided that I would make my own! After all, if you are going to spend that much money on something, I thought that it would be nice to be able to keep it afterwards.
It's also made me think about the possibility of doing bespoke bouquets and invitations for other people's weddings. If anyone is interested then get in touch!

Well, New York was a blast! The picture is of me in New York City library. We were pretty keen to do a tour of all things Ghostbusters and just generally had an amazing time. It was great to do a house swap. The apartment that we stayed in was great and it felt really good to be in the real Brooklyn rather than in some expensive hotel. We were exhausted by the end of every day, as we pretty much walked around for hours trying to fit everything in. We walked the Brooklyn Bridge, went round Prospect and Central Park, went up the Rockafella building, visited the MET, went to Coney Island and went on the Cyclone (awesome!) went to Rockaway beach to check out the surf and generally breathed in the city. Amazing. On our last day there, I proposed to my fella and we are finally engaged after 18 years of being together! |
